Excellent dslr-camera with 10.2 megapixel and good optical quality (tested with the kit-lens 18-70 mm). More important for OS/2-users: Data (Nikon raw format NEF or JPG) may be read from SD-card via external reader (1 GB SanDisk Extreme III is not recognized by my reader, but that?s another story) or via USB 2.0/1.1 (in camera "mass storage" has to be set as transfer protocol in USB menu). Works with Fotoget and Cameraderie 1.5 (Camera uses /DCIM subdirectory) or every filemanager etc. Alternative, transfer via PTP works for example with Cameraderie 1.5. A quick test shows, that the tools D70reader and dcraw (conversion of raw data NEF-Files, see at Hobbes) are working. It's a pleasure to work with this camera and thanks to the programmers of the tools mentioned above!
