• Video - Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (video driver: Panorama VESA)
• Sound - Intel High Definition Audio/AC'97 (driver: Uniaud)
• I/O - Intel I/O Controller Hub 7(ICH7)

Before installation:

• disable Hyper-threading in in BIOS setup
• remove all adapters

During installation:

• don't sort Config.sys
• select installation of ACPI.
• select network adapter: IBM NULL MAC driver.
• The 1-st stage is slow because of HWMERGE.CMD - kill it using Ctrl-Esc and Ctrl-С), the installation continues

After installation:

• SMP kernel + ACPI params: ACPI /SMP /APIC
• Install network: (GENMAC220.wpi from ftp.netlabs.org)

Conclusion:

• we have 2 CPUs
• working sound
• video works
• USB works

Notes:

• disable system sounds
