Which exact model number is this report referring to? Is it a silent Thinkpad?

R52 Model 1846-AQG works very well with eCS1.2r (German version). Not so well with eCS2.0rc3 (ACPI, Power...)

1400x1050 LCD with SNAP - okay.

With eCS1.2r (APM1.2) Suspend/Resume/Shutdown - okay.

LID close to Suspend - okay.

LAN with Broadcom Driver - okay (not okay with Genmac1.x ?)

WLAN with Genmac2.x and WPA-PSK (from eCS2.0rc3) - okay.

Sound (wav) with uniaud from eCS1.2r - okay (not okay with uniaud from eCS2.0rc3)

Volume, Brightness... keys - okay.

ps2main.exe from DOS Thinkpad Config utility - okay.

Trackpoint, Touchpad, USB-Mouse - okay

DOS, Win31 - okay.

Not tested:

Modem - no need so never tried.

PCMCIA - no cards available

Fingerprint sensor - probably no change to get it to work with OS/2 but don't work well anyway with Win and my fingers ;-)

Firewire - no need but I fear OS/2 firewire project is dead anyway, isn't it?

Hypernation - maybe I'll try it sometimes. BIOS do have Hypernation setting for DOS-OS/2 so chances are good.

Problems:

Battery widget shows correct charge percentage but only 6min remaining regardless of battery status.

Screen saver does not respond to USB-mouse but to trackpoint and touchpad (screen blanking although USB mouse movement, needs regulary key or touchpad/trackpoint action)
